Cash Hash » Cash Hash » Cash Back » Is the future income in an Adult Foster Care business considered when qualifying for a mortgage?

  #1 ()
: My husband and I are going to attempt to buy an AFC in a year. It is $300k and we have credit scores in the low 700's. I'm just wondering if the bank uses our future income when determining the amount of house we can afford and how much cash will be needed down? I'm figuring we will have between $25-30k. The business has been established for over 20 yrs, has a great reputation, and all beds are full. Let me also say that the reason our credit is so low is that we had to file Chpt 7 bankruptcy 2 years ago due to unemployment for years. My husband just recently got a position and will make $85k this year.
